Terms of Service
Last updated 26 September 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and uLuup. They are short on purpose. Using the app means you accept them, together with the Privacy Policy.
Using uLuup
- You need to be at least 13 years old, or 16 where local law sets that age.
- You are responsible for what you do in the app and for keeping your sign-in safe.
- One account is for one person.
What uLuup is, and what it is not
uLuup is an app for keeping long goals alive: you write what you are working towards, it proposes a way through, and it keeps the record of what you actually did, breaks included.
It is not medical, psychological or financial advice, and it does not diagnose or treat anything. If something in your life needs a professional, uLuup is not a substitute for one.
What you write stays yours
Your goals, your steps, your journal entries and your photos belong to you. You can delete any of them, or all of them with your account.
To run the app we need permission to store what you write, show it back to you on your own devices, and send the small part described in the Privacy Policy to the planner when you ask for a plan. That permission is only for running the service. It ends when you delete the content.
The plan the app proposes
The plan and the suggested steps are written by an AI model from the sentence you wrote. They are a proposal, not advice and not a promise about a result. They can be wrong or a poor fit, which is why every step can be reworded, replaced or removed before you keep it.
What you decide to do is your decision.
What you may not do
- Break the law with it, or use it to harm someone else.
- Try to reach another person's account or data.
- Take the service apart, attack it, or drive automated traffic at it, including at the AI features.
- Copy the app, its text or its design and publish them as your own.
Free and Premium
uLuup has a free plan and a paid one. The free plan keeps up to five goals at a time, with steps you write yourself, the plan the app proposes at the start, and three more plans made from a sentence. Premium adds as many goals and plans as you need, suggested steps, a smaller step when you come back, and the story of each season. What each plan includes is shown in the app before you buy.
Nothing you made on the free plan is taken away behind a payment. If Premium ends, everything you wrote stays yours and stays readable.
Subscriptions
- Premium is a subscription, monthly or yearly, bought through the App Store or Google Play. The price is shown in the app, in your currency, before you confirm.
- Payment is taken by Apple or Google when you confirm, or when a free trial ends.
- It renews automatically at the end of each period, at the same price unless you are told otherwise in advance, until you cancel.
- You can cancel any time in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends to avoid the next charge. You keep Premium until the end of the period already paid for.
- If an offer includes a free trial, it becomes a paid subscription when the trial ends, unless you cancel before then.
- Deleting your uLuup account does not cancel the subscription. Cancel it in the store as well.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google, under their own rules. We cannot issue them ourselves.
Our part of it
The app, its text, its design and its code are ours. These terms do not transfer any of it to you, beyond the right to use the app.
Availability
We aim to keep uLuup running and to keep your data safe, but we cannot promise that it is available without interruption or free of faults. The app is provided as it is, and to the extent the law allows, without warranties.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the app. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Ending it
You can stop using uLuup at any time, and delete your account from inside the app. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or that puts the service or other people at risk.
Changes to these terms
The date at the top says when these terms last changed. If a change matters, the app will say so, and carrying on with the app after that means you accept it.
